so here it is.
read some comments below it already (why did i do that?!). yikes! lovely people, this is supposed to be funny. no need to be taken so seriously. having some fun with our videos from now on. unless the song doesn’t lend itself to joking around a bit then we’ll not go there of course.
i had loads of fun doing this and will do similar again.

- The thing is it’s different and some people are too “mainstream” for new and extraordinary things. That’s why they complain about it. So to you that should be a good and positive point of view, because it only shows that you are special and not “usual”… It’s funny and different and (most important) “not another boring music video”… love it! Please stay this way, this is what makes Snow Patrol so brilliant!

last night - inglewood, LA - poster on the wall of the Love of God Church
so garret, about 2 weeks ago, found a gospel choir - THE LA INNER CITY MASS CHOIR - that sounded amazing on youtube and we got in touch with them. they are preparing for a big concert this weekend so we were invited down to watch them rehearse with a view to have them singing on a few songs on the album so we went to their church last night. they knocked our socks off and made us feel very welcome too. can’t wait to record with them in a few weeks. hopefully they’ll let us video it so we can show them in action.
thank you jeffery and your wonderful choir for your time, passion and voices. it was an education i can tell you. jeffery himself had left his hospital bed to make it to the rehearsal last night!! we wish you better health sir and soon!
ps, they had a band play with them for the first time last night that had only had a few hours to prepare. wow. they were incredible. wish my words could do the night justice but this poster on the wall i saw when we were leaving the church seemed to some it up pretty well. it was taken on my shoddy camera phone so that’s why it never came out very well. the last line, in case you can’t read it properly is “what will matter is what you learned and how you used it”. amen to that!
